At RefurbMate, we strive to provide accurate and helpful AI-generated renovation cost estimates. Because our service delivers digital, instantly accessible reports, our refund policy is designed to be fair while protecting both users and our business.

1. Digital Product Nature

All RefurbMate reports are digitally generated and delivered instantly after purchase or request. As such, once a report has been successfully generated and accessed, it is considered consumed. Refunds are not typically available for successfully delivered reports.

2. Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds may be issued only in limited circumstances, including:

  • Duplicate purchases made in error
  • Technical issues on RefurbMate’s platform that prevent report delivery
  • Unauthorized charges confirmed by our payment processor
  • Failure to deliver the report within a reasonable timeframe due to system errors

Requests falling outside of these criteria are not eligible for a refund.

3. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us within 7 calendar days of purchase with the following details:

  • Your full name and email address used for purchase
  • Order reference or transaction ID
  • Description of the issue

4. Refund Method and Processing Time

If your refund is approved, the payment will be returned to your original payment method within 7–10 business days, depending on your financial institution’s processing times.

5. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued in cases where:

  • The report was successfully generated and accessed
  • The user is dissatisfied with the estimate accuracy or content (as results may vary)
  • The request is made after the 7-day window
  • The issue arises from user error, such as providing incorrect property data

6. Service Interruptions

If the RefurbMate platform experiences prolonged outages preventing access to purchased reports, affected users may be eligible for credit or refund at our discretion.
